🌊 🚴🏼♂️ 🌊 UPDATE on this solo bicycle journey across America from Stone Harbor, NJ to San Diego, CA:
3,447 miles completed so far through 14 states. Currently riding southwest on the Southern Tier bicycle route through Arizona. Next week I’ll be crossing into California. Will be riding along the border for a bit and then will pedal into the mountains where the temperature will be lower. After that, I’ll descend into San Diego. It will be so cool to see the Pacific Ocean.
It’s been an amazing journey and I’ve met so many great people along the way. Thanks to the generosity of so many, Bell Socialization has already received $18,500 as a result of this coast to coast bicycle ride. Bell runs the family homeless shelter in York, PA and they are already using that money to assist homeless families. I used to be a caseworker at Bell Shelter so Bell is near and dear to me. They do so much good in our community.
Thanks to everyone for your encouragement along the way during this journey. It has been much appreciated.
Arizona evening. . . sitting outside the motel. . . just watching the world go by. 🌵🌅
It actually is a pretty small world.
🌊 🚴🏼♂️ 🌊 I’m currently in Peoria, Arizona. I’ve traveled 3,348 miles so far through 14 states on this #COASTtoCOASTbicycleride from Stone Harbor, NJ to San Diego, CA.
I’m using the “Southern Tier” bicycle route now. Will be riding west through Arizona and then south through California along the Mexican border.
Here’s the Southern Tier bicycle route that I’m now traveling on. Quite a few miles along the Mexican border coming up after I complete my time in Arizona and cross over into California.
