I’m currently in Duncan, AZ. There are two massive wildfires between me and Phoenix. One has been described as “fast moving & dynamic” and that was BEFORE the 20 – 30 mph winds today. They have shut down some of the roads on and off. Even if I could ride my bicycle through, they’re saying I would need to wear a respirator to breathe which wouldn’t work out too well riding in hot temperatures. 🚴🏼‍♂️🔥 I’m going to try to get a ride to Phoenix so I’m past these fires. I’m already seeing the smoke here in Duncan where I’m now staying. And locals have told me the smoke is even worse as soon as you get up and over the hill a few miles west of here.
