It felt so good to roll into Duncan earlier after my favorite riding day of the whole coast to coast journey so far. (The woman behind the counter of the tiny store told me to stand under that hole in the ceiling where the A.C. comes out).
I crossed into a new state during today’s ride (Arizona) and a new time zone (mountain). It was a beautiful day of riding. A nice 5 mile an hour tail wind the first 25 miles, then a cross breeze / headwind the last 15 miles which actually felt refreshing. Leaving in the early morning really made all the difference today.
