Enjoyed chatting with these Texans over breakfast. The fellow with the striped shirt, Joe Brooks, owns a legendary RV park and was 48th in the world in clay pigeon shooting. He’s one of the best shots in Texas. Additionally, his father was the sheriff here in town when Bonnie and Clyde came through!
The gentleman on the far left in the big hat, Glyn Carson, drove over 3,000,000 miles as a trucker and is now enjoying RV’ing 365 days a year with his wife. This is his hometown and he just happened to be passing through this morning to visit with these three friends. They were a jolly bunch. Glyn offered to train me to get my CDL license so I could become a trucker. 🙂
