Charlie Jenkins at Texoma Bicycle shop in Sherman, Texas (214 miles west of where I am now) is such a gem of a human being. I have a broken spoke on my back wheel and I’m in the middle of nowhere without access to bicycle shop. Charlie patiently worked with me over the phone to take various measurements and is fed exing me a new spoke (and some spares) ASAP.

Charlie is the same person who tuned up my bike and installed new tires when I was passing through Sherman, TX not too long ago.

He and his wife are awesome and I’m so lucky to have met them. They’re both long distance cyclists (from Texas to Canada and much more) and they ride a tandem bike! 🙂
