I just rode 20 miles on beautiful country roads with a tail wind with Ken Bauer. Ken came in 4th out of THOUSANDS of riders in the “Hotter than Hell 100” race through Texas (averaging 24 miles per hour for 4 hours and 13 minutes)!
It was an honor and a pleasure to ride this morning with this gentleman. At one point he was ranked in the top 100 cyclist in the country for his age group.
Ken is a super kind fellow and really helped me on this journey! Thank you KEN!!!!
(He’s also riding my dream bike, a carbon fiber Salsa. Light, fast, comfortable and fun).
Ken is heading back home to Plano, Texas now and I’m now riding on to Meunster, Texas which is a tiny town with a huge German population and several German restaurants that come highly recommended.
