JC, a good friend from York, PA who I lived with in Montana, was driving from York, PA to Angelfire, New Mexico and stopped to visit me in Mississippi.

We had breakfast at an historic diner opened in 1947 (which was featured in the film “The Help”), had a beer at an awesome brewpub and had a delicious catfish dinner by a huge reservoir. Now we’re back at the campground and are relaxing by shore of the lake here.

So glad JC visited with me on this trip. It was pretty darn cool when he drove up beside me yesterday as I was bicycling on a road through the forest in the middle of nowhere in Mississippi. #COASTtoCOASTbicycleride
