🌊🚴🏼‍♂️🌊 Excited to resume my solo coast to coast bicycle journey starting this weekend from western Georgia. Have traveled 1,100 miles so far through 8 states. 2,500 miles to go (7 states). Some of those states are big ones. 🙂 So eager to get back on my bike. I miss it! (Have been home getting first and second COVID shot). Got a flat lay hammock with rain fly so may be sleeping mostly in hammock now when there are convenient trees. Next big stop: Birmingham, Alabama. Then on to Dallas, Texas. I’m doing this #COASTtoCOASTbicycleride to raise $15,000 for Bell Socialization which runs York, PA’s family homeless shelter. Each year due to lack of funds, they are forced to turn away 50 – 100 families per month in the winter months (700 families per year). Some of these families with children are likely sleeping in their cars as we speak.
