Funny story…. before leaving on my cross country journey, I put a note in a bottle and convinced a surfer to take it way way way out and drop it into the Atlantic ocean. He went WAYYY out. I honestly thought the bottle would sink and I’d never hear back. Or if someone did find it, it would be years later and the person who found it would be hundreds or thousands of miles away. Two hours later, my phone rang. It was a teenager who had found the bottle. He promised to read the note at some point when he had time. He had just seen the phone number and gave me a ring. 😂
